Sam Reinhart will get a pass because Bylsma did this or didn't play him at center or whatever other excuse people want to use, but the fact that Drouin was played on the 3rd and 4th line for 2 years, and sometimes benched, which is what led to his initial trade demand will be ignored.

Reinhart is a solid player. But we really need to stop comparing him to the more electrifying players in the game like Drouin because he's not that type of guy.

Housley seems to say all the right things. I really hope this makes a difference this year. I saw Eichel last year, a player who left tons of points on the table. I think he will get close to 100 points this season if he is healthy for ~80 games.

The D should be way better and get more points (some of that might be better players).

Now, if they can weasel one more D man (trade) and maybe another FA signing (hidden gem, later sleeper that can play bottom 2 minutes) and a strong winger for Eichel and I think we are challenging for playoff spot.

You left out the part were Drouin trough a temper tantrum, and quit on his team and took his stick and skates and went home, and refused to play for them (real team first guy) like a 2 year old.

Reinhart is a guy you want on your team. He's a huge asset to this team.

If someone is trying to low ball you in a trade, I'd say see ya later. No way am I giving Reinhart away for a song. You better be ready to give up some prime pieces if you want this player.
