At this point I'd rather be left out in the cold and make the best of things/see what we have than overpay, especially for a smallish, injured player coming back for #8 and one of our better youngsters.

Completely agree.

I'd rather keep all the picks, make a couple of minor moves, hopefully offload a bad contract, andet the season play out under the new regime.

I talked to someone who works for the Hawks and he said the Hawks would have never had allowed him to come to camp if there was even the slightest whiff of guilt. They investigated immediately and found that the charge was completely trumped up.

With everyone saying that Botterill wants to build a fast team, would he be willing to move Bailey and Kane? I can see one or the other, but not both, if he wants to increase this teams speed.
