He's on the block because they might lose him for nothing. He's had one good year and is a UFA at years end. I figured giving them Fasching and a pick would be fair so they get someone they don't have to protect in expansion and don't lose him for nothing

Yeah but teams are going to lose really good /valuable players if they don't trade them, so should be some last minute bargains? Vatanan for a 2nd a prospect like Bailey? That's certainly better than losing him to LV for nothing. Common sense says there has to be a lot of deals in the next 3 hours, unless LV has a ton of side deals in place that haven't been announced ,(which is very possible)

There HAS to be some trades today, if not by us. There are just too many guys that will be lost for nothing otherwise. That is unless some serious deals have already been made for Vegas to not select certain players.
