He should be fine on bottom pair with antipin. Well worth the extra 3rd we had.

Let's hope Housley can get some consistency out of this group. Like the trade as of right now. If Housley can work the same magic here like he did with the D corps in Nashville, things could be looking up!

Good trade. Kid has had a rocky start but he's still 24 and potential to be a top 4 guy. Absolutely worth a 3rd rounder.

Locally I played with the Aardvarks in Rochester for a few years and the with the Genesee Screamers.

I also played I school in Ohio and and Albany - seven of the best years of my life.

Would it be such a terrible thing to have Guhle start out the season in Rochester? Maybe give Housley some time to straighten out Risto/McCabe/Beaulieu and let Guhle get top pair minutes in Rochester. Probably wouldn't be the worst thing for him.

I believe Lehner is not the starting goalie for the Sabres in 2017. Ullmark or a veteran on a 2 year to warm Ullmark into the position is my bet (Mason, Niemi)
