The same can be said for Girgensons. I get that there needs to be some sort of system in place, but it should be one that compliments the players. It seems that whatever Bylsma had going on out there was the complete opposite of what it should have been for the group of guys we have.

According to a league source, John Tavares has indicated that he will wait on signing an extension with the Islanders, but he does feel more confident in the direction of the team.
Tavares will play the last season of his current contract in 2017-18 and he might do that without an extension in place. It was initially believed that GM Garth Snow had to get Tavares signed by July 1, but it seems like the organization feels comfortable with this new development. Snow is looking to make improvements to the roster this off-season

There are at least 5-6 guys on this team we all want gone.

To expect that JB will be able to dump them all this summer is unrealistic.

All have more trade value than Carrier IMO. I think Foligno especially is undervalued because he's been here for a relatively long time. He had a very strong year this year

I'm letting them just take Carrier and moving on. No need to give all that up just to try and get out from under Moulson's contract. He has 2 years left and showed last year that he can still be helpful in some ways. Do I love the price that comes with him? No, but I'm not giving up the farm to get out from under it either.

Dallas have a top 5 uniform in sports right now, IMO.

I like Carrier, but I wont fret losing him in the expansion draft. Good bottom 6 player, but I just don't see him ever becoming a true top 6.

So since almost everyone keeps bringing up Ennis and how he is being protected, I will share this.

I am here to bring you a small tidbit. I didn't want to start a new thread because I don't know what to make of it.
So this weekend a buddy of mine came over.
He is very good friends with Justin Bailey.
I guess Justin just got a new place and my buddy was helping him move in.

While they were doing the move, Justin told my friend that him and Ennis were thinking about getting a place together
but Ennis backed out saying that he doesn't think he will be here much longer.

Now what is making him think that?
It's even weirder that he said that and is still being protected.

Maybe he thinks he will be dealt at some point and Buffalo is protecting him because they believe he still has value.

Again, I'm not telling you guys he will be traded.
I am just sharing what I heard.
