Not the worst I've seen but not a fan of the new look Canes/Wild type sweaters. I think those two teams took titanic steps back in look. I love Arizona going back to the old Coyotes look for a minute.

Why does it have to be a righty? Style wise he plays a very Kopitar/Draisaitl game. Not as good a skater as Kopitar, so maybe someone like Barkov is really the closest guy to Kopi. It's just a style comparison. But Patty Cakes is a better skater than Draisaitl. His ceiling if he really hits his full potential could be something like those types. I've heard Eric Staal, but I don't see that.

Now, a realistic ceiling? Sean Monahan with better defense (because he was supposed to be better there and has kinda been 1-way in the NHL). 30 goal, 60 point 2-way center doesn't sound disappointing to me, even if he's not the first group, which is a real high bar.

I always like hand comparisons because I like to think about the angles they will be shooting from if you tell me, for instance, he's a goal-scorer, or who he's passing to on the forehand if a guy is more a playmaker

If he's as productive as Monahan, I'd take it -- Monahan does a lot of nice things for CGY. I'd take that, gladly
