No, it's all good, I'm just sayin'
The dude -- I mean, how many of us have actually seen him play? I know I haven't
I get it: We debate/argue/fight about a lot of players and concepts, but a multi-pager on a dude the majority of us have never seen stop a puck is, indeed, impressive - AllInForFlyers
I seriously want to talk about weed and music |

This new Arcadea album is my favorite album so far this year. If you like weird experimental synth metal you should check it out.

If anyone wanted to chat about random hockey stuff, did anybody see that Las Vegas might wind up with as many as five first-round picks (including theirs) on Friday night?
I've never seen anything like that before |

It's interesting to say the least. A team only has so many contract spaces to go around. If they feel there are that many goalie prospects ahead of him and don't feel the odds of him becoming an NHL goaltender are good, then the best thing to do is move the player for whatever asset you can and give the kid a chance somewhere else. Especially if you plan to possibly draft a goaltender in the upcoming NHL draft.

I did not realize how popular Distillate has become. Better than terps or even straight up hash in my opinion. The flavoring is crazy. |

what chance are they giving him? he is a free agent in 14 months and can do as he please then. They didn't get an asset though unless you think Michigan is an asset.
He had no contract so that point is moot right now. My guess is they let him go for the simple fact they didn't think he would amount to much.

That's kinda where I am -- at some point, they have to make decisions. Now, that doesn't mean that every decision they make is correct, but we do have to understand, at point of impact and when it comes to prospects, that they're making the calls based on whether they think the guy will make it or not
Again, I can/will fight, have fought, over guys I've seen play. I get that -- we all have opinions, and the board is here for us to talk hockey
I'm just not certain how much rage I can muster over an ECAC goalie that the Flyers moved, that I've never seen play -- they're pretty much telling you that they've seen him, don't think he's an answer.
Me, I just gotta shrug my shoulders on that one and go with it

Is Emperor still the premier black metal band? I actually find black metal, even aside from all of the Satan worship and church burning shenanigans, bad. |

Have any of you scout-centric people seen this Spencer Foo kid? Is there any reason to care whether or not he picks the Flyers -- as in, could he crack that roster this fall and help them? |

I did see him play in the NCAA tournament on ESPN. This was his last GA as a Flyers prospect.

It's not that it's all bad (hell, even modern country has some good songs), but in general, I find it to be a little too chaotic for me. I don't know how else to put it. Even most death metal bands have a semblance of melody to them. A lot of the BM that I've heard sounds very disorganized. |

No, man -- if you've seen him, by all means. I don't watch nearly as much hockey as I used to, but I do know some of you do watch more and they televise more and more of it every year, as well, which is good

The ending of that game was crazy. Harvard really should have tied it.
Madsen looked like a big college goalie was who pretty good, but mainly big. Maybe a little slow to react. |

If they were smart they'd opt for 2018 first rounders. |

It's way early, but is 2018 projected to be good or have a lot of depth?
I keep going back and forth on how good I think the Knights will be -- I can't convince myself they're gonna score enough to finish better than 12th in the West, but Gallant's a pretty decent coach, they should have decent goaltending... |
