Unless the Canes are getting a 25-30 goal scoring forward in return, what's the point of trading Faulk. The guy scores 15-17 goals and 40 points every year.

McPhee ruined that team. They are going to be so bad for so long.

Montreal has been loading up on cheap, analytically smart defensemen lately though. If they hadn't blew it with the Subban trade I'd say they were doing pretty good

I'm not even a Dillon fan and I think Schlemko > Dillon on a purely hockey basis, but Dillon is younger and has way more value. I'd have taken him just to trade if anything, especially with the value of young D these days
