I really want Adam Foote's kid.... He is in the 12-18 range in most drafts.
I'd trade the poop out of some 2nd and 3rd rounders to move back in and take him.
At this point... I think I'd rather have 2 higher quality guys with higher ceilings than more mid-level guys who MAYBE could be a 2nd/3rd line tweener. |

Recent rumors suggest there has been no outgoing calls coming from Bots to teams looking to trade Kane. Grain of salt.
I think, if those rumors are true, Kane isn't as big of an off ice issue as we think and he's interested in some level of re signing here. - TheSabresTaco
Jesus Christ I hope they trade him already, this way we don't have to listen to people complain about him anymore, but then we can listen to people complain how we are thin at LW and can't score and how we can use a power forward.

Makar won't make it past Vancouver IMO. |

If we end up with Makar, Tippitt, Rasmussen, or Glass.... I think I'll be happy.
Vilardi, Mittelstedt should be gone.
Necas and Kostin I'd avoid like the plague. - JVince11
How would people feel about Liljegren at 8? His stock has certainly fallen, but would it be savvy draft him there? I'm assuming Heist and Mak-daddy are gone by this point. Also, I continue to be intrigued by the possibility of Tippett. |

My gut says Kane starts the year here. If he helps us make the playoffs and then leaves for nothing, that's better than trading him for a second and a prospect now. I'm so sick of slow, bad hockey. He's fast and fun. Just keep him |

I wouldn't hate it but that is considered a reach at 8 by many. He was once considered the best dman in this draft.. a little small but a good offensive guy with great skating.
I personally like the goal scoring ability of Tippitt and Glass. |

This will happen every day all day.
I mean, does it really matter. There are characters still complaining about what we paid for Kane. I predict those same characters will complain about the 3rd generation of that trade tree once Kane is traded away. |

Tippett lacks ability in his own end. But hey, we got guys for that, right? RIGHT?!? |

I agree with doing this, as long as the Sabres find someone silly enough to do it. I'd throw Brannstrom's name in there too. |

If we stay at #8, liljefren will be the pick. Makar is dynamic but will be gone well before #8, and honestly, his size would worry me. Liljegrin had a very down year but had a terrible case of mono. He has tremendous upside and I'm saying he'll end up the best dman in this draft. Sort of how everybody though Seth Jones was the best dman and risto has surpassed him. |

Which one if they're both there? Maker, right? And screw the lottery for dropping us two spots... |

If I'm a GM and i'm getting a lot of calls about a particular player, I might be hesitant to move said player. If there's that many teams that want him, why would I move him? |
