I like samson but his value to another team is higher than his value to buffalo, given our center situation and others center situation. Trading him to Carolina for Hanifin makes way too much sense so will never happen.

If we stay at #8, liljefren will be the pick. Makar is dynamic but will be gone well before #8, and honestly, his size would worry me. Liljegrin had a very down year but had a terrible case of mono. He has tremendous upside and I'm saying he'll end up the best dman in this draft. Sort of how everybody though Seth Jones was the best dman and risto has surpassed him.

If I'm a GM and i'm getting a lot of calls about a particular player, I might be hesitant to move said player. If there's that many teams that want him, why would I move him?

I don't like the tone of these tweets. Why are we rebuilding the rebuild? Remember when Murray said it was easy to make the playoffs? Dear god, just give me a sniff of the first round and add players. I dont want anymore prospects or picks.

Here's a fun topic that we haven't beaten into the earth yet.

So we have Risto, Cabe, Antipin, Beaulieu set for a top 4. Gorges and Falk for depth. Guhle coming in next season or this season to fill in. (Surprised if he starts here). I can see another top 4 helping, making our defense more of a committee approach... but I feel like I'd be more inclined to pay more for a top 2 workhorse that can handle the top competition to help balance out the rest of the d corps.

Valiamki is another intriguing one. Just honestly reminds me of Risto a lot. Most have him in the 10-15 range though so it'll depend if there is a run of D men or not
