Honestly, I just can't envision a team that would trade for him before being able to negotiate a new deal. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gets moved, but I feel like it would have to be after July 1.

If I'm the sabres gm for a day this is what I do:
Trade #8 and Kane to Dallas for #3

Trade #3 and girgs to NJ for #1 and take Patrick or Nico. Nj needs centers but want makar, this gives them both.

Trade a 2nd and larrsons (or similar) to LV for Neil

Trade Reinhart for Hanifin (Jack's best friend)

Some of this might not be equitable, but I don't think it's too far off

He better get his ass in gear and do something. GMTM never had a problem making things happen. JBotts has this year to make the playoffs just like GMTM would have. If Kane is moving out for some poopty ass defenceman, he better figure out where 25 goals are going to come from, which is a poop ton for this team. Folks aren't patient and certainly don't need to be. Fans' opinions don't mean much, but the players' opinions will. I have less patience with the Sabres this year than the Bills. Bills will be putting even more pressure on the Sabres this year. Mark it down and put it in a safe place. I got Bills making playoffs before the Sabres because their season starts earlier. Sabres better be following right behind.

The more u hear and read, the more I'd say Jason Botterill's hopper is a big one. He only seems wedded to Eichel & ROR. All others possible
