Keep Shea Theodore in mind... maybe Vegas would like to unite Sam Reinhart with his brother Griffin in the desert? Also, Vegas flipped the Columbus pick to Winnipeg to move up in the first round.

How about Sam Reinhart, Matt Moulson and #8 pick to Vegas for Shea Theodore and the #6 pick? Reinhart could actually become the #1 center for Vegas at this point, they would also take Moulson's contract off Buffalo's hands and the Sabres move up 2 spots in the draft to improve their chances at Cale Makar or whomever they prefer. Theodore would instantly become a top candidate to play in the top 4 for Sabres.

Or maybe Sam and Matty Mo for Theodore and David Perron? Not sure if Theodore is worth Reinhart, but maybe the cap relief from Moulson will help them bring in reinforcements elsewhere and create room to keep Evander Kane???

I would do either trade. It's going to take Samson to get a top-3 D and if he projects to the wing on this team, I think we can safely move him.

Liljegrin may be an option AT #8 if you discount last year due to mono. He was the top rated dman going into the year. Down year this year but huge upside. Similar story to chychrun but a better prospect

He could've, but you also have to remember that he has to work with those people still. You can't go and piss off half your co-workers and expect to be able to get your job done effectively. Plus, I'm guessing even more backroom deals were done too for "future considerations".
