Someone here mentioned Shattenkirk, I don't like that move.

Few things, another D man, I think everyone can see that coming. Looking at a couple Forwards and a couple players to move out.
- SABRES 89

Hopefully one of them moving out is not Kane...

nah

make him sit out a year, that protects the team that drafts the player

99 times out of 100, they will sign with the club that drafted him

- homiedclown

The player needs some rights to decide but I think if you don't like the team that drafted you, go back to the draft and roll the dice. It also makes the team that wants that player to basiclaly lose a draft pick htat year when they draft them instead of signing them as a FA.

Assuming we keep #8, I am happy with one of these three:

D, Cale Maker *likely not available
F, Owen Tippett
D, Timothy Liljegren

Also, Virtanen has been a bust for the Canucks so far. Sorry Pach.

- SabreWest

yeah, maybe...or perhaps I was simply feeling a bit generous

If Kane gets moved for a young defensemen I have no issues taking Tippett but if he is still in Buffalo when the pick is made I would lean towards Lilegren

Agreed 100%, A line of Eichel, Nylander and Tippett could be great for 10+ years!!

EK is saying that MAF might be on the move, I can't see it. They were pareding him and the other guys all around town yesterday. They love Fleury here.

It wouldn't shock me to maybe see Nylander in a deal. I don't see him as a 30 goal guy.

Yeah I am with you there. Unless Philly offers up 2nd overall or something Fleury is going to be the face of the Vegas for the next few years

Oh yea I agree, he will get at least that much. The Rangers can have him so Hank has another golfing partner in the off season when they lose.

Greedy, make guys liek this and Vesey re-enter the draft when they hold out. Stupid rule only in the NHL. Needs to be fixed

Look at the jump his brother William made from year 1 to year 2 and Alex had better stats in his draftable year. In saying that, I alwasy thought when the pick was made that Sergachev should have been the choice. who knows at this point how either turn out though

His brother is probably the better player

I'll agree with that, can't we use Petersen as trade bait ? I'm sure we can.

Do you think Neil is being dangled by LV. Keeping him doesn't make all that much sense to them, considering their roster composition.

Also wondering if some deals for D are already done (by LV and maybe CAR and MIN), but won't be anounced until the draft? No advantage by teams to announce trades early

Eh, after what Vesey did last year with being traded and still going to FA I don't see any team offering up a pick just to talk to him first
