Top prospect and a 1st re pick for a 4th line fwd.
This proves you can be a terrible GM and still win a cup |

Wait... what did I miss?
StL used Reaves to move up 20 spots?!
Wow
Idk what Pitt was thinking there
Nice player, but he's a 4th liner |

Sundqvist was Pittsburgh's best young forward (not in the NHL) too |

He basically sold his soul and became a homer employee |

I don't know about that...he does a lot of research...just like scouts...and, just like scouts, he's not perfect |

I wouldn't call him a "top" prospect
Maybe a 3rd liner one day
Idk that he'll be much of a scorer in the nhl |

Hjalmersson was the only one i feel like we had a chance on. I feel like we could have made a better offer potentially |

Did he blow up this year or something?
I know he's decent,
but I haven't heard anything about him being a stud or anything |

Seems to be far superior to his present teammates, and it lessens his dominance. If his hockey IQ reads openings on the ice and linemates don't see what he does, they are less likely to be in advantageous. This makes him seem less effective, but his high skills are less evident.
--Bill Placzek--
I had thought something similar, how it might be that his skill allows him to dominate on PP but the rest of the team brings down his 5v5 play. Kind of like how our high end skill got us a good PP but the lack of depth/Coach/D killed us. |

Who would we have offered thouhg? Idk if I'd give up McCabe
Maybe something like Hjlamarsson and a prospect for McCabe straight up
Make them pay for that cheap contract |
