GMTM got a raw deal. Hamster was saying on GR before the draft how Botts is always saying he's excited to every question he is asked. Holy S, I lost count of how many times he said he was excited in the post draft presser. He needs to take off the rose coloured glasses and figure out how to deal with other GM's. Murray didn't have a problem with it. I love how Botts threw out that July 1st trade teaser too. Would've been nice to know Schenn was available. Girgs plus number 8 would've been more than comparable. Botts must be excited to not score goals. Dude is in over his head. I miss GMTM.

Exactly. I get that a lot. Like when I questioned whether or not Risto was a #1 Defenceman in October. 8 months later peeps who were laughing cause they were ready to give Risto the Norris for successfully clearing the puck are trying to claim that take as their own. kid was ranked 4th in an earlier mock draft
my guess is the head coach, from that state, has a little insight on this kid
I didn't see us trade a first rd pick for a goalie who can't make a save in a shoot out
I didn't see us trade 2 young players and 2 second rd picks for a mudder and a fringe 3rd line nhl prospect
I didn't see us go after a slow d man who can't hit or score
I did see a gm move a 3rd rd pick for a former first round d man with top 4 potential and decent wheels and a decent outlet pass this week though and draft who he felt was BPA
Murray's rebuild removed most assets for a center and now a rental LW and an overpriced oft injured d man though and hand picked half the worst D unit we have ever seen in Buffalo

Holy (frank). Botterill's been on the job 6 weeks!! 6 weeks, and you're burying him already!
He helped build a repeat Stanley Cup winner with some of the best support players I've seen perform in the playoffs in years, and he's incapable.

and if we're going forward Jason Robertson( i'm pretty sure he's the youngest in the draft ) and Maxime Comtois ( was ranked in the top five in the summertime but
