The overwhelming amount of top4 defensemen are drafted in the top2 rounds is a FACT, not my opinion

Of course it's a huge help if u can develop later round guys
It just doesn't happen enough that u can depend on it


But even if that were the case...
since we are MUCH deeper at forward...
wouldn't it make sense to draft defense early & forwrd latwr
And then "develop" the forwards?

So we went completely off the board in the 3rd round? I'm starting to wonder if we do this poop on purpose.

No defenders in the first two rounds as always. More soft playmakers as always. Drafted a 7th round talent in the 3rd round...this has become one of the most Sabresy drafts I've seen. Sorry to freak out I'm sure after back reading I'll see this horse is a bloody pulp already, but I just don't get it anymore.
