Carol Schram: Changes rumoured for Vancouver Canucks front office as Draft Day arrives Hour before the 2017 draft gets underway, word has surfaced that the Vancouver Canucks are about to undergo a significant overhaul of their front office and scouting department in early July.

This has to be concerning news with the draft starting up in four hours from now.

The thing that I don't like is how we hang on to our loyalty to average players.

Some have said on here that you could replace a Tanev or Edler with a UFA and others are adamant they they can't be replaced. They are very good players . Meanwhile the rest of the NHL GMs conduct business and wheel and deal and simply say no thanks we don't need Tanev or Edler.

I guess the scouts didn't understand systems?

that's pretty much my thoughts. But it also means JB is holding them accountable if he didn't like the quality of work which he knows best. So maybe a few fresh sets of eyes are needed.
