I still think there is a chance that Tanev gets traded today. The asking price on some of the other D out there is steep and Benning likely feels that he is an position that he does not have trade unless it is a very good deal. I would not be surprised if some teams circle back to the Canucks today. Benning is usually very active on draft day.

However, I believe, more important than the deals you make, are the deals you don't make - the ones you walk away from.

Dreger reports rangers want to trade up. trading down to 7? what would you be ok with for this to go down? for me if they trade us their second and 7 I think I'm into it as I like Pettersson a lot.
