I like Lind lots but we need to address defense at some point. Another center would have been okay here too. I actually really liked lots of players in the first half of the 2nd round.

I was watching highlights of this kid and anyone who compares him to the Sedins are so far off. His passing is like the twins but his stick work is like Oshie and yes Datsyuk. He turns on a dime.

I hope he can bring that to the Canucks. Benning said last night he is hoping the Sedins will be good mentors for him which breaks my heart to hear.

Charachter and what it takes to keep doing to succeed in NHL is not a bad thing to mentor. They are work out fiends so that will help Elias add the strength he needs. Rember there is also Bo there to take over team. This guy is fast and plays a speed game so don't worry about a slow cycle.

I didnt like petterson at 5, they should have moved back if they wanted him.. I think Glass will be the best player in this draft so that made it even worse for me.
