Honestly, why the heck not at this point? In my opinion nobody should be more disappointed in a player than Giroux right now. |

just thought g would be a perfect fit in montreal, they need a top center bad and theres not much out there to pick, was hoping they would overpay |

Montreal does not have the pieces to make this happen. |

If they are working on something with the Habs then Gallagher would make some sense as a Schenn replacement. And he's been tied to the Flyers in rumors in the past too.... |

How both observant and predictable a response, without real logic to back up your points. Read and Raffl we're both 20 goal scorers three or four seasons ago, so we're good. - SuperSchennBros
The good news is I am not the only one who finds 25 goals (17 of them on the PP) replaceable with draft picks and an overpriced 3/4 line player...ask Hexy.
And your point being...but but he led the league in PP goals. WOW. Simmonds had 1 less PPG. They utilized him as a high screen with Simmonds down low and ranked 14th in the league in PP%. The Flyers are doomed if they can't find a replacement for a once in a lifetime player like Schenn.
I seriously can't figure out if you are upset about the trade or if you have to change your name.

I knew it. Those blueberries didn't agree with my stomach once. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Dunkin Donuts corporation didn't like them too. |

not sure who is crying about weak shot schenn, I'm thinking laughton could step in for him pretty easy, they seem almost identical players imo |

Bill I know how much you and I love the Flyers but trading a top six forward with some grit in his prime will set the Flyers back for a couple years and Schenn is just approaching his prime. Look for 65 points in St. Louis and a lock for top six. Lehtara on the other hand is a cull. Third line player that is either injured or inconsistent. The draft picks are nice but what are you going to get at around 20 and higher. The Blues will not be at the bottom of the league so the pick is not going to be elite unless a miracle takes place and with Hextall running the show there is no chance. I hate this move and would trade Giroux before I trade Schenn, based on work ethic alone. Who is going to get all those pp goals now?? Oh wait Cousins is gone and the there will only be a few pp opportunities now, lol Flyers management is right on par with Benning and that corndog in Edmonton. |

It will set them back in the short term. That's what this is about. Hextall is going full rebuild. I love it. |
