not sure how low it will go... but I see limited risk in signing him at 2year at up 4M... obviously less would be better.

he gets a chance to rebuild his game.. .and he's not old enough that this will be he last contract... nor will it need to be.

I would see that as much preferred over a deal like 5yr & 5$ for Alzner for example

I'd really like to see the Leafs get one of these two this off-season in the [email protected] range.

I think it'd really solidify things and take the pressure off moving JVR until we know if this team is playoff bound next year. If we can't get either of those two then I'd try to turn JVR into a top 4 D.

They're good but you can't deny there is at least one glaring hole that needs to be filled with a better than average D.
