The New York Rangers will reportedly hire Lindy Ruff as an assistant coach.
The New York Post's Larry Brooks points out that the deal is not done, but it will be. Ruff spent the last four years as the head coach of the Dallas Stars and he held the same role with the Buffalo Sabres for 15 years. Ruff will be in charge of handling the Rangers' defense. Jeff Beaukeboom, who coached the defense last year, will join New York's scouting staff.

So what you are telling me is that if we insert Fasching, Babtiste Nylander and Bailey in the lineup next season we will win games ? not a chance in hell. Teams will eat us up. You must think Eichel and ROR are the second comings. The Pens, Leafs, Habs jst to name a few will eat us up and spit us out and that doesn't include teams like the Cans and Panthers that we can't seem to beat.
