I like this Palmu pick for the Canucks. Always buzzing around the net for a smaller guy at 5'7" and generates shots and chances aplenty.
Is he Canucks version of Marchessault? |

Kole Lind @klind13 22h22 hours ago
Thanks to the @Canucks for making my dream a reality, excited to be a nuck! Can't wait for what's to come
I hope it is his dream to be a NHLer not a Canuck , otherwise this kid is one sick bastard
Just joking no need to think I am serious |

I've been foliowing this Lind kid a bit as he plays with Foote in Kelowna and it would have been nice to get Foote on the Nucks as well.
The Lind pick was good. |

Canucks have a lot of holes everywhere . I guess it comes down to what one do you fix first.
I think they took steps at addressing skill toughness and goal tending this year. Next year a stronger push on D.
I did want Glass and Foote but I have learnt from years of the draft that you seldom get what you want. |

It will be interesting to see how this scouting makeover turns out, and why was it leaked before the draft? |

Hell has frozen over.
The Canucks are getting positive reviews for the draft from the press. |

It's what we do here in Canuckville. That's the way we roll. |

Why these things weren't done 3 years ago is questionable.
Hoping there is a full cleanse. Keep hearing that Weisbrow(?) is hard to work with and rubs a lot of people the wrong way. |

I saw Kole Lind a few times but never thought we would take him, I was always focused on Foote. All said I'm happy with both 2nds. |

Weisbrod is also apparently responsible for the Granlund & Baertschi acquisitions. Still if he's not a team guy he needs to go. |

After Friday night I was looking to see the projected first round picks still not drafted that would slide into the second round. We missed Kolsin by one maybe seeing Avs were focused on D. The names that stood out were Robertson Timmins Ratcliffe and Linds and Hague.
I wanted a big player like Rattcliffe but I really doubted JB would take him and go for a more skilled player. |

I still see Baertschi as a third line talent. Granlund I like more . |

It will be interesting to see how the new Sportsnet radio station will effect 1040. It could easily be one group of ass monkeys vs another group of ass monkeys. |

This week we have to get down to busiiness and sign Miller and extend the twins. After that we can see how much money is left to give to BO |

Oh $hit here we go. |

If Weisbrod is the guy that goes, hopefully they fill that role with a solid experienced hockey person. Someone on the level with Lou Lamoriello or Bob Nicholson. Steer the ship the way it should be, leave TL to the PR, or better yet fire him. |
