Drafting 5 centers you have to believe one of them pans out in the next 3 years. I'd sign Bonino 3 years x 2.5-3 per. If Anderson is ready in the next year or so well have a great 4C in Anderson and I would sign Hayes and Zib to long term deals. 8 years 5.5 each. - nyrangers9479
the Zib contract is one of the most interesting things of the whole summer, because after trading Stepan I am sure his camp is like "pay up female doges" |

right now the Oilers are 20 million under the cap and all they have to do is sign him
then give McDavid 14 mil a year next year - jimbo83

Let him walk and give it all to Draisaitl. |

Meant to say if Anderson is ready we could slide Bonino to 4C as I think Anderson would slot into 3C. |

Stars will place Antti Niemi on waivers for purposes of a buyout. |

Interested to see what some time with Allaire might do for him. |

LH shot. But so is Smith. Rangers would just have to bit the bullet and move Holden back to the right. - tomburton99
it looks like the D is rather set at the moment. Not sure about pairings but i think if they sign smith, they may decide to not sign Shatty.
McD - ?
Staal - Holden
Skjei - ADA
I have to assume they acquired ADA for him to play with the rangers, not the wolfpack. I also dont see him playing on the top pairing. |

Or they could all bust. Plus 2 of them were overage. So... |

You have resurrected nightmares on this tandem. Please, this cannot happen next season. Smith will play with Skjei again, when resigned. I think this will happen before Saturday. |

Much to the chagrin of many lol, I really think Jumbo is the best option for them. Only on 1 yr deals tho. Be like listen give us a club option for a another year. It's better then signing a guy for 4-5 years at x amount. Sign jumbo for a yr, play him with Nash and see if maybe some serious chemistry develops. And before anyone freaks about it, why is it such a taboo thing? Your not committing to him, you need a center that's not just a 4th line guy and you really have no assets to get someone to fill that spot....I actually don't see any negative about it other then people not liking him. He's slow like Stepan but big deal, he can still make a great pass

I think that it will be hard to lure him here with other teams looking for the same thing. He will got the money and term he is looking for from someone. I would do a year, 2 MAX but someone will give him 3 and I hope it isn't the Rangers. |

Because it's not realistic. He said he wants a 3 year deal and if we sign him to a 3 year deal 95% of the fan base will lose it, myself included. I also don't see, with the youth movement going on, we're going to sign a 38 year old. |

I understand what he wants, doesn't mean he'll actually get it. For the record there isn't a chance hell the rangers would give him that (3 years) imo
They have to get a center and that's bottom line and I don't see them going for any UFAs |

His age, knee and massive dip in points should be red flags. The only problem find a good center on the UFA market is almost impossible. |
