Time to move on from Miller, some capable tenders out there to split with Marky or let him take the ball and run with it. - LeftCoaster
I tend to agree with you here but I keep hearing about miller being re-signed ...why not just say we are moving on and let him go elsewhere |

So who do you like to sign a one year for peanuts and be good enough to ease Marky into #1 role? - Nuck4U

It still is with Demko and when Tree returns. McCann turned into Guddy. Just JV hasn't proven his potential yet. Thus, the negativity of failure falls down on JB and that draft. But like Trees return next season or so JV will come through too.
I'll give this early prediction that Dahlen, Peterssen & JV will form a good line. They can create and score while JV can make room for them, snipe, or clean up rebounds. JV's speed would be complimentary to EP's game and set up ability. - Nuck4U
My point was that back then everyone was cheering now reading the pages here for quite some time fans look at that draft as another of JBs lame picks. So given the history here perhaps soon they'll be ripping this one too
Personally Id say JB has done the best job drafting any canuck GM has ever done |

He could have done reasonably better drafting probably but also looks to be doing better than the last 2 or 3 gms. Time will tell... but it's trending much better.
I have never seen a Canuck GM face this much scrutiny in my 27 years as a Canuck fan. That is for sure. Bloggers and all day local sports lead by rock n roll radio hosts keep people wound up pretty good. |

I like the job he's doing drafting for sure. Fans must remember that no GM wins on every pick. Far from it.
Yes I agree with you....its the way the internet is. Some idiot posts some crap about JB and tons of people who wouldnt know otherwise buy it. The fear mongers that are in the newspaper and radio spew constant negative crap about the team. We've had negative press in our own yard and that right there has hampered this team in many ways. |

What's the word on miller ? Is he coming back for sure or will they look for a guy to come play with marky ? - Redmile247
Like Lefty said it's time to move away from Miller and let Marky handle the load. No need to pay for a guy like Miller to finish bottom 5. |

No but it seems full of draft picks and new ELC signings
So is Goldy and JV going to be there along with Dahlen? - Nuck4U
Pettersson and Gunnarsson coming for development camp but not young stars tourney?
Rathbone will he lose his eligibility if he comes to camp? Technically he isn't in the NCAA yet. I don't know the NCAAA rules other then they are just dumb. |

Utica still needs a new coach. I didn't realize that Jason King was named as an Assistant coach last season. |

One thing I would say I like about Bennings draftees is that they all have good character. |

If they did sign Miller it is because Markstrom will never be the starter. Also I think Markstrom is often injured. |

If Markstrom is a back up then trade him . He is getting starting salary |

I don't think we need more money spent in that position. |

Ok fine pay miller 3 years at 5-6 mill |

I'd say he's getting paid more like a platoon goalie than a starter |

if he had the money to fly and stay in Van on his own dime I think he could attend. The Canucks aren't allowed to pay his way.
Those rules are dumb. |

I am not entirely sure Pettersson will be there for development camp. Didn't JB say something about his season with his team that he is signed for has already started or something?

The #Canucks are still trying to sign Ryan Miller. They have not turned to plan B on the market yet.
Seems like we are his plan B |
