I think he's an amazing prospect with huge potential, I also think NCAA prospects are underrated for their ability to jump into the NHL right away. I just think that its a long season, lots of travel, and the west has some very strong top-4 D groups. He might get close to 20 goals but he wont be averaging 17 minutes per night IMO. Thats a big ask to play top-6 minutes

Saying Boeser & JV in the same light ignores they r 2 different players.
Adding to that Boeser is much more advanced on maturity.
Rushing prospects is one thing but demoting them on the basis of they r prospects is entirely a whole other matter. Each player is on a case by case decision. Boeser had a year of ELC burnt for a specific reason. READY NOW for the NHL & did not disaapoint either. We can agree to disagree but Boeser is a top 6 winger now.

Why do so many think Boeser is being gifted a spot in the line up. He needs to spend at least a full season in Utica. We will be lucky if he becomes a 3rd liner.

I dont see how he doesnt make the NHL next year, but there is a big difference between NHL and top-6.

If guys are predicting he will play shotgun with Bo, remember how Bo went goalless in the final 17 games of the season when teams turned their focus on him instead of Henrik? Its not an easy transition to be the focus of the opposition, playing with Bo will bring that added attention
