Nothing like rushing our prospects. Could be JV all over again. - Reubenkincade
There is nothing remotely similar to Boeser and JV. |

Where is our ECHL team now situated after the folding of Aces? - Reubenkincade
The only ECHL team without an official affiliate is the Fort Wayne Comets.
Last year the Canucks only had 3 players in the ECHL |

Whatever our expectations r the next 2yrs it will be the same ol same ol.
What we do want is TG in that same time is to install his systems.
We as fans will want to see improved scoring & team play.
The current assets will produce or be replaced from within hopefully.
What we can assume is no PO's.
Years 3-5 is when prospects should be in full bloom.
The present talent should be well developed.
Sedins will be retired & some growing pains will continue.
Cap control will be most important & trading & new contracts be crucial.
The Demko era will signify our time is ready & will determine if we r 5yrs away or 10. All in all the cupboard will be full of prospects regardless if JB/TL r resigned or not. If nothing else we will experience something we have never had a farm team loaded to push for spots in the NHL. |

Not determined yet. The Aces were bought by the Philadelphia Flyers and are going to be set up in Portland Maine, however, the Flyers are supposedly keeping Reading as their affiliate.
Best guess is Adirondack, Flames bolted out west and that teams is looking for a new affiliate and it is close to Utica. |

Both are right hand shots, 6'1" & 1st round picks. Kinda similar... no.
I do like Boeser and think he will be a good player for us

JV made the team his draft year... nothing like that at all... Boeser was 4 drafts ago... you try way too hard to be objectionable... border line comedy even.

He played a few mean nothing games and looked ok. Let's not get our hopes up too much. - Reubenkincade
That's right, much much better getting our hopes way too down.

We were sad sack & no depth when JV cracked the line up.
Much has changed since then & competition is much more fierce.
A good sign & indicative of the wingers JB has assembled.
The ongoing hunt for top C playmakers is our GREATEST task.
D scoring & puck moving ability is a forever need.
Its coming but cannot be here soon enough for most of us lol |

I don't think you have to give yak 2 years ...sounds like he wants to go to van ...1 year 1 mill |

If Boeser and JV are comparable for the same mistake of pushing them in the lineup, that mistake would have had to have happened long ago... he's older, he's got NHL skill, He's got NHL size, he's very mature.... he most likely earns his spot respectively. It's not not like pulling an 18/19 year old out of junior at all. |

Ya. Just having some fun. If you read back a couple pages I asked Don if he wanted me to create some hysteria, in which he replied, please do.
Boeser will be fine and is a very promising player. |

I would do two at 1.2 if he sucks send him down. If he works out you have him locked an extra year |

I dont see how he doesnt make the NHL next year, but there is a big difference between NHL and top-6.
If guys are predicting he will play shotgun with Bo, remember how Bo went goalless in the final 17 games of the season when teams turned their focus on him instead of Henrik? Its not an easy transition to be the focus of the opposition, playing with Bo will bring that added attention - WhiteLie
which wingers are better than Boeser? maybe Loui? |

Boeser is a year younger than JV. JV also did not make the team his draft year. |
