Gadj could turn out to be better then Lucic because he can skate and is still improving it.

I think you'll cry if Palmu turns out to be like Theo Fleury...don't underestimate those bulldog little guys

On ice play dude and you will need more then a hanky. But you know the off ice stuff, especially in Canadian markets, can't do anything anymore cause of social media and coverage.

Kids can't win ...always get in trouble for every little thing...happens in every market ...except Winnipeg ...one cannot get into any trouble there

no you're right, it certainly doesn't scream ELITE or NHL lock by any means, but I really hate losing prospects/picks for nothing. Russian factor needs to be taken into account when drafting.
- Codes1087

except that its not ONLY russians that sign in the KHL. Really anyone can play there. Jagr went there for 3-4 seasons and we have even seen north americans go there too (not many but a few). Mike Keenan coaches there as another example.

Point is anyone can be lost to khl not just russians

Also a very inferior league struggling with payrolls.

With how broke that league and most of it's teams are and the fact that already a whole team died in a plane crash (RIP Demitra), it amazes me that Russians prefer to play there than in NA even if it's just the AHL. At least here you'd get paid on time and in full.

He's from Vancouver and apparently has always wanted to play here. I agree with your assessment, but I think there's more to this than just winning as we can afford to give him a bit more $$ too.
