Hard to believe no one wants him, unless he's looking to bank. Hell, I would think he'd jump to play a 1 year vet minimum back with Pitt. They would go ape if he came back, not to mention, he would have a pretty decent year with that team and the talent they have. In any case, a blue and gold jagr jersey would be sweet!

I have some friends from Pittsburgh that say Jagr is not liked because he said bad things about the city when he left. That's just anecdotal. No idea if the disdain is widespread among Pens fans, or if it was real, that they haven't gotten over it in the last 20ish years.

It would be a shame if his body suddenly...didn't respond well to his equipment.

I'm pretty sure that's already the case.

My favorite right now are the people who keep saying they're willing to see what Housley can do with him. Unless he's putting him out there in bubble wrap, I doubt anything Housley teaches him is going to keep him from getting injured.

If they move gorges, would they buy Bogo out? Would that make any financial sense? Not sure how the fallout of buyouts work exactly, so forgive my ignorance on the math of the subject.

I like the move. This is the type of move we've needed to make for a while. I think GMJB is patient, which I like...(however I get antsy like any other fan..I just wanted something good to happen)
