Talked to Shattenkirk camp. He hasn't decided where he will sign yet, reports otherwise are premature.

4 years $7 million/year for Shattenkirk is more than fine. Term is far more important than than the dollar amount.

But at only 4 years he left a ton of money on the table, Botts did a nice job getting ahead of it. Behind Shattenkirk you can make the case Scandella is better than any d on the market

I can tell you that the reported deal between Rangers and Shattenkirk is not accurate.

It is for Bonino but i'm happy with our deal yesterday even though I was never a huge Pommer fan. Team is different now so maybe it will work out.

We had the flexibility to take on Pominville's contract and Bruins didnt, thankfully
