I think Pommer replaces Gionta. With 2 years left I'm good with it since I believe that was the same amount of term as Ennis with a bit higher of a cap hit. I'd look at Moulson if we're worried about cap.

I agree. If not,it is the same old dumb moves. Gionta better not be on this roster. The one thing i dont like. Carrier and foligno are 3rd or 4th line players you need to win in playoffs. Big fast and hit....

Why do people want Sam back at Center.... he hasn't played well there at all.

At least at RW he has been a 20 goal scorer and gets more minutes. I don't want him getting 3rd line minutes with guys like Larsson/Zemgus on his wings.

Put him with Eichel or ROR and his play will blossom.

I want him at Center if he has good wingers. 3 scoring lines with 3 good centers is how you stretch other teams thin. I don't want him with Larrson or Zemgus, if that's what he gets, which it is right now, I say keep him at wing

Right, but you have contracts falling off soon. I'm not worried about the long term. Now if they overpay in FA this year, then I'll get there. But with this trade I think that they aren't going to be looking to make a big FA splash

Not that it matters, but I think Marco Scandella is an outstanding Defenseman, last year I mentioned him on a short list of Left Handed D-men, Right behind Vlasic and Elkholm that would be a good fit for Risto.
