Del Zotto Nilsson Yakupov are all stop gaps the same as Megna or Chaput . They are only better quality stop gaps.

Sedin extension talk is still front and center and Tanev and Edler are still on the team. Like I said wake me up when they begin the rebuild. If Miller were available he would have been picked up by Benning

Yes the rebuild is somewhat tainted with the Sedins here but somebody has to push them out before anything else matters. UFA's r gonna do that.

Demers as a trade really depends on cost. Not worth giving up any futures. If they take DD maybe balances out.

Believe it's still one of the banned substances for NHL. If Canada passes nation wide legalization maybe there will be push among Canadian clubs. Problem is crossing the border it's a class A federal felony holding. With AG Sessions & Trump in States they probably won't even allow it under NAFTA.

Chaput and Gaunce should be in Utica . Ferraro was a 31 OA pick and is better than either player. Ferraro would be a good cheep 4 th line center. more grit than Gaunce or Chaput.

As a general discussion we have a bad team and a lot of these scraps realize the could play a year or two here. So the question is

Would you like a bottom line of Pirri Yak and Ferraro or Gaunce Chaput and Dorsett?

Me personally I would like to give the new guys a chance and send Gaunce and Chaput to Utica .

Nilsson/Del Zotto is a good move I think, pretty low risk signing but there's some upside for both guys. They would fill roster spots for cheap as well.

I'd leave Bouma alone, frankly.

Bouma is a bigger Dorsett basically. Guy loves to throw hits, except unlike Dorsett, people don't just bounce off of him.
