Problem is, and always will be, fan support. The hardcore fanbase will easily live through several years of suckage for the chance to be great again, but they aren't the ones paying the big dough for tickets/merchandise/corporate support that you need to keep the team viable in Vancouver. With how expensive it is to live in the Lower Mainland and with the team no longer a contender, there's a good chance that the casual bandwagon fans that jumped on board and made the team worth almost a billion dollars at it's peak won't come back. If that happens, then you have to wonder if FA will be willing to stomach the losses both in revenue and in corporate support. His construction company is overextended as it is credit-wise, a year of red ink with the Canucks might bankrupt him and then the team might never be able to be a cap team again as who in BC could buy the team and bankroll 75 mil for players (not including salaries for the coaching staff/management group/team employees/etc.) every year.

Oh I totally agree we would be better with Bo at 3C I just think it's going to be very tough to do. Once we lock up Bo long-term I think we'll see some pretty big upside from the kid IMO.
