Like it. All his signings/trades are speed guys (except pominville), former 1st round picks, underachievers, with a lot to prove. Smart. Still a lot of salary cap $$$ to spend and re-upping Kane, Eichel and/or Reinhart wouldn't affect this year's.

Btw, the one guy who doesn't seem to fit the speed system is Reinhart. Like the player but he plays a position of strength also.

Guys, I think the Hawks and/or Panthers changed their jerseys, they're going with black ones that say LA on them. Petersen signed with one of those 2 teams right? I kept hearing how much of a guarantee it was and literally no one said anything about LA so it couldn't possibly be them, could it?

Josefson is a good and smart skater but he won't blow past anyone, he isn't slow but isn't exactly speedy, he is a good depth signing and is a very responsible 2way forward

Josefson is a good and smart skater but he won't blow past anyone, he isn't slow but isn't exactly speedy, he is a good depth signing and is a very responsible 2way forward

The Islanders are trying the hardest to keep him there, and it just might work from an effort standpoint. Maybe not from a results standpoint because I have no idea what the (frank) they're trying to do other than placate Tavares.

Well they've definitely improved their roster this offseason

I still don't think it's enough to get them over the hump, but Tavares wasn't good enough this past year himself either
