You can't use PK as an example when it was the same GM who signed him to the contract. The money isn't the issue, it's the term.

Price will be 31 when this starts. He is worth the money now, but in 4 years that might be a different story.

Few people disagree a healthy Price is the best goalie in the game. Slow down on the best player,..... would Edmonton trade that McDavid kid straight up for Price? Or Pitts trade Crosby for Price?



Price has lots of great hockey in him. He also had an injury history.

The same "awful" islanders that missed the wild card spot in the east finishing with 94pts, 1 pt short of the final playoff spot in the east. Keep defending hamonic if u must. Same player as alzner except he only costs 500k more for same production and didnt cost us a 1st and 2 2nds.

And im sure after the dust settles and the structure is out that most of prices bonus money will be paid in the first 4 or 5 years when decline isnt likely to happen. U really think molson has a problem paying 20 mill per for the 1st 3 years of prices contract in bonus money? I think not. This contract is gonna be set up so that if he declines that this contract wont be difficult to move
