IMO you totally want to use injuries as a reason to keep an extra prospect around. It's a huge bonus opportunity.

Time spent around the team, don't have to play every night so they can get used to the grind, string em out until world juniors etc.

If it doesn't happen early, well, send em down. No harm no foul.

Interesting lack of addressing the hockey points that were made in response to your comment. Open minded adults like myself that can discuss and appreciate different points of view would have done that.

It's not about being right or trying to ridicule someone. It's about sharing and exchanging ideas, thoughts and understanding.
