I'm excited about this years training camp but I'll be in Melbourne for the month, so I hope to come back to some real nice surprises.

If we are 0-10 is that a good surprise or bad? I want to know if you will be grumpy , happy or high?

The thing I love about this year is at least I know the names of the losers. Last year I never heard of any of those losers .

Appears so. I like the Lind pick his stock did rise fast. Maybe not to the degree of Glass but it was good still. Nabbing EP & Lind was a great start.
- Nighthawk

I think I read somewhere that Lind was playing 15 minutes a night where most of players ahead of him in scoring were playing 20.

I seem to dislike the last couple of picks that JB made. Starting with Rathbone since he isn't going to College this year and back to the USHL. It is a weakness in the organization smooth skating, high offence D men.

Palmu looks like a brick wall even though he is only 5'6".

Gunnarsson another glaring need for a tough D man.

Matthew Brassard I know nothing about him. It seems like a Tate Olson type pick. A hope.

Born in Nelson and grew up in Kaslo... I get it man. I really do.

I'm miserable here in the heat.

I'm a huge, huge fan of global warming. I've been supporting it for decades. Can't wait to see those (frank)ing ice caps gone.

Actually I'm a bigger fan of the Sun exploding. A nice cool -400F temperature across the planet might weed out a few of the idiots lol

No clue. All I remember from last season is that many of the 'I knew we were a bottom 5 team' types were saying this was a PO team after we started 4-0...

Funny how things work around here...

I kid you not, I'm sitting by the fire wrapped in a blanket, typing on my phone. I'm so sick of being cold and damp. The wife and I are seriously thinking of moving to the south okanagan to chase the heat.

Canada will truly be the best country in the world if we can only raise the average mean temperature by 5 degrees. Wouldn't that be awesome.

All I remember is the PO dreamers shrinking as the season wore on, and about 4 games after they were eliminated even Nuck4U realized they weren't a playoff team.

Move over to the Island. Its been like 27/28 for the last few weeks. Have to blast the A/C throughout the day until the sun goes down.

I went in with a bottom 5 prediction, they actually did worse than I thought.

Rathbone is going back to high school next season: http://dailyhive.com/vanc...rathbone-autistic-brother

I saw a picture of Palmu next to Salo at the development camp the other day, I thought he was the strength and conditioning coach. Kid is thick

Pretty quiet on the teams scouting turmoil. Maybe some of these picks are indicative of the pending shakeup. Weisbrod & Delorme? Both?
