I can foresee a tough predicament coming.
I've faith that Hank will be good to resign yearly til he cannot play well.
As for Dank next season is a make or break one & 20 goals is a minimum.
Many prolly say they both play or neither but i hope thats not the case.
We can use Hank as a C to buy time & he can still handle it IMO.
Dank though is holding him back & we've many wingers can out play him.

So assuming Dank retires that unburdens us from the Sedins as the 1st line.
TG is free to play lines as much as he wishes as he sees fit.
The PP will evolve with or without the Sedins out of necessity.

It's about time the organization stops being so mean to Subban

I don't expect Dorsett to be on the roster much.

His salary and recent injury basically make him waiver exempt. Nobody is going to touch him.

So, send him to Utica to be a mentor for the kids there. We can eat the cap space it takes to bury him, and he can still be a beneficial part of the organization.

With the recent signings, and the additions of Boeser and Goldobin, plus the hopeful return of Rodin, I just don't see a spot for him in Vancouver.he could play out his remaining year and possibly work his way into a coaching gig, like Baumgartner and Keane did at the end of their careers.

Well said. Been posting this for months. Time to realize the new NHL needs scoring not guys who take penalties just to offer no impact grit. Soft line ups don't get harder by a bottom player. So what's the benefit?

But DD has value by being leader for young prospects on Comets. The lunch pail work ethic would be huge for the organization to impression kids what it takes to make NHL.
