Bad idea. Not with that tight dress and that giant glass of wine and those big silicone augmentations up front.
It won't be as long as you think before she's "a 1986 Ferrari". You know, something everyone looks at and says "Once upon a time I bet that was a hell of a ride, but these days I can't justify the costs of the maintenance." |

thats kind of what i was thinking.. but maybe he is down for the up keep and that is why he filed for arbitration so he had the extra dough.. the problem is you can only give an old car so many paint jobs before the rust starts to show through.. and when it does that cars value goes from high to very very low |

The lease programs offer an ideal methodology of being able to drive a new car for a while, then turn it in for something a little newer and more up to date ...

99%.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if all 3 reached an agreement before their hearings.
Larsson isn't going to get much more than his qualifying offer, but when it's that low, not going to arbitration seems like a no-brainer. He can't really lose.
They just traded for Beaulieu, so neither has a body to really work an argument.
Lehner is the wild card, but he could stand to make some stupid money if he has a big year this year. |

Yeah, I'm not sure about Larsson unless they settle before arbitration. Even if they don't, I can't see him getting that much of a raise. He's a good bottom 6 player and I would like to see him healthy and in the mix.
I think Beaulieu is the lock. They just traded for him and they need D-Men.
Lehner is the wild card. I definitely agree with you there. Not sure how much the Sabres will pay him if it gets about 5M/year, if they go to arbitration. |

hey larsson, here is your 900k
well we at the larsson camp feel we deserve a raise, say 1.5 per
again here is your 900k
(files for arbitration) - homiedclown
So I am just trying to see it from Larssons side, but he has mostly been placed in non scoring position (penalty kill and defensive zone faceoffs, 4th line work) and he feels he should get more.
Example:
Folingo (over last 3 NHL years)
212 games 66 pts 0.31 pts/game
Larsson
149 games 44 points 0.295 pts/game
Not that far off. Now I know points are not the only way to value a players worth, but I think Larsson is worth more than $1mil / year. I mean, I wish we could get him signed for that, but he does have more value than that. I mean Folingo was $2.25 (and this year more?), so it only makes sense for him to try to get more during his prime playing years. |

I just saw that too, Eichel getting $13 / year? Hmm, interesting. Hope we dont have to pay that much to keep him, but I can see him asking for that but it is hard to make the case he deserves that at this point. I do think (secretly) Murray was putting him with weak linemates (I know he played with Rienhart and Kane towards the end) throughout his years here, to maybe keep his numbers lower. He should have played with Okposo for at least 1 5v5 shift over the last year but did not. If you get Eichel a decent sniper winger, his assists (and most likely goals) will go up quite a bit.

It's actually pretty easy to see it from Larsson's side. Arbitration is a tool he is afforded by the CBA. With his qualifying offer being so low, he'd be stupid not to employ it and see what sticks.

13 is impossible unless he waits a year, wins MVP, wins the cup, and the Conn Smythe.
He ain't getting more than McJesus.
Now, IMO his salary can be anywhere from 8.5 mil to 11.5 mil depending on if he signs now or waits a year |

That is my opinion too. As much as I want him lower, it only makes sense for him to get the most he can. He does not care about the cap as much as we all do, hahaha |

I tend to agree. But if he holds at $13, we get kind of stuck. I mean, no way are we trading him or letting someone offer sheet him next spring. Not saying he would do it or he is "worth it", but you never know. I think if we get him a strong scoring winger, his numbers could go up considerably. I want him locked up before season starts so he cant ask for more and more. I think it will get done before the start of the season though. |

Carey price career save percentage: .920
Lehner last year .920
Price just screwed the goalie market pricing |
