OJ played too safe. He made a good first pass, he had great vision, and all that you expect out of a 5OA pick, but I know he is capable of being way more dynamic. I thought he played good, but he can show twice what he did last night IMO. I want to see more offense from him, and out of all the D, I thought only Chatfield really showed that last night.

Well consider me shocked. Based off some of the other comments here, I could've sworn AHL players performing well against some 17-18 year olds was an indication we are going to have some real gems on our hands

When I looked at who they were playing I laughed and thought watch them go 0-4 .. might as well bring out the brooms now

After watching some highlights, it appears that a fair amount of defensemen were puck watchers. That Irving kid, #40, appeared to make some nice plays, good positioning and quick passes.

What like 3 games per month over 35 games is way strung out. If OJ earns a 9 game look then one game per week should be least amount of spacing. If he earns more games then he'll be around for WTC. He could still be sent back to OHL, if he hits a wall, but at that point he'll probably stick to work out.

I don't know man, they played a scrimmage and some players were better then others. It's a game that shows the future, not next season or probably the season after that.

Ya, hope is all it takes. There has been some additions to the prospect pool that have been showing much more quality then Van is used too. With a weak NHL line up, guys are looking for potential. They played a prospect game with a bunch of guys who won't ever make an ECHL team probably.

I'm sad that Goldobin, Cassels, Carcone, Labate, Subban, and Pedan are no longer even on the roster. They were locks for key roles starting in 2018

210 would be ideal, but needs to play over 200 without question. Being listed at 161lbs on the Canucks prospect camp list means he has some serious weight gain ahead
