Hmmm.... BB pretty quiet... Guadette seemed to even outshine him. Saving it from main camp...? - Nuck4U
Like Bo during his rookie year...Horvat looked pretty meh in the rookie tournament and then brought it during main camp |

Still, yes.
Imagine if we actually got legit bluechip prospects out of that 1st round in the 2014 draft |

OJ is in tough to make it if everyone is healthy
top 6 seems pretty set and he'd have to beat out Biega/Wier/Holm for the #7 spot...and keeping him up in a limited role vs big mins in the OHL seems like a bad move anyway. - Nucker101

There is a school of thought that best way to develop a player who is ready and has earned it, to get into the NHL, is to gradually expose him. Shelter minutes and games while he learns to do more. If injuries occur and he's thrown to the wolves; then he'd be able to handle it better. As opposed to coming in cold from junior. |

petersson scored 2 goals both nice ones but the 2nd was wicked. He showed great patience in waiting for the spaces to open. Incredible talent.
Can see why scouts said if he was 20 lbs heavier he would have picked #1oa.
in the game No one seemed to be up to his level
OJ looked great too |

Molino and Gaudette lots of speed there. Gaudette has a much more mature game then a lot of the players tonight. - manvanfan

Still chopping down Demko, Tree, JV, and Guddy who we got for Macan't.
Just because of that Ehlers kid who's skill set is present in spades with all the Canucks wingers and prospects. Look at the big picture and balance it out. |

I just don't get why people act like he's been some sort of drafting genius. It'd be kinda hard not to have a decent prospect pool after drafting 6th, 5th and 5th in 3 out of 4 years and trading away Kesler/Bieksa/Garrison/Hansen/Burrows.
We'll see how it all turns out, but so far 2014 looks like a missed opportunity. Other years are impossible to judge since none of those players have played a pro season yet. |

His stance is reasonable. OJ should only be in the NHL if he forces the issue through a great camp/pre-season. And then carries into his first 9 games.
The chances of that are probably less than 50%. |
