Gadjovich drafted pretty similar stat line to JV. Probably plays better in the corners but didn't have the speed that JV has. I can't see him making the team before at least a year in the AHL.

He didn't look great out there, but he didn't look out of place to me, if that makes sense.

I thought Molino played great with Gaudette. Gaudettes second goal by Molino driving to the net was a beauty.

your assessment is very good except Id say OJ had a stronger game too.
yes Chen was to the point of "why was he here?"

- SMBDragon

OJ played too safe. He made a good first pass, he had great vision, and all that you expect out of a 5OA pick, but I know he is capable of being way more dynamic. I thought he played good, but he can show twice what he did last night IMO. I want to see more offense from him, and out of all the D, I thought only Chatfield really showed that last night.

its been said of OJ that he will come from nowhere and surprise but otherwise not be seen.
Chatfield was great!...he is a pleasant surprise as a young FA signing. JB does his homework it appears

Yeah that was nice, Gaudette is good at waiting and finding players in stride that allows them to beat defenders.

Gaudette and Dahlen had a little foot race there, Dahlen doesn't look slow.

Molino looks like a Hansen type, speed and stone hands.

I feel like OJ is on the cusp of playing how he wants to play, rather than how he thinks staff and management want him to play. He plays a much more offensive/risk taking style in London, and last night he was pretty reserved from carrying the puck and jumping up. I think he played great, but I think he is capable of playing better, which is good

Chatfield was really good. The free agent signings of Molino, McEwan and Chatfield were amazing signings, they all looked awesome last night

It will come with age, I would rather he be responsible on the D side and have the O show up a bit later.

really noticed macewen and chatfield.
OJ probably did his homework and played more defensive to try to make the team since that is a priority

There were some nice goals from shots today. No passing the puck into the net.

Pettersson looks good, it's still only a scrimmage though

Sounds like Gaudette's got a big set of alpha balls.

You could argue he was playing against weaker players than he's used to

But it's better to see him looking good out there against anyone he plays against

Gaudette was able to get a good hit on him last night. Gaudette is only 185 lbs

I found it was really a one line game from each team. The D that weren't draft picks got murdered all game long it looked like. Drafted D were steady.

You mean we should just take these performances with a grain of salt?! I was already working on some trade proposals to gut the roster for September to make room for all these kids
