Oh the irony of a potential trade with the Leafsπππ
Ok i'll take a pot shot at a deal....
JVR/Carrick/1st for Tanev
Maybe too pricey to a Leaf fan but idc top 2 shutdown D r not being traded.
Flip JVR to idk u pick a trading partner. - Nighthawk
Id take that deal but JVR wouldnt play a game in a Nucks uniform. The flip would have to be made prior, knowing our luck hed get a season ending injury the day before being moved |

I hear you. I do doubt that he has Vancouver on his list of tradeable destinations though. - Reubenkincade
Its amazing how quickly VAN has become one of those teams that ends up on lists. In years past, I always understood the Buffalo's and Edmonton's of the league, because bad team, bad city. I guess I always assumed the city of Vancouver would help keep them off most no-trade lists, particularly ones that are less than 10 teams long |

Ya I don't think too many established players want to go to rebuilding teams, unless that team has made some significant signs of turning the corner.
Which is fine by me, as we shouldn't be trying to get aging players for our best trade chip. |

I remember when Bo looked like trash in the prospect tourney a few years back and there was panic in the streets. |

Perfect I like his game. Hopefully by the end of this season he has found himself a spot on the 4th line. |

Arcibald is also a fair bit older isn't he? Labate might carve out an NHL career. Archibald won't |

Plus the 1st round pick which will be a lotto one since both those teams will miss the playoffs with the rebound of the Bolts. |

I can also see Sutter moved when EP and Guadette take their hold onto the Nuck roster. Lind may have something to say there too but he's more behind at this point. |

They are on the list of the high tax, low endorsement revenue but super expensive to live and now far from winning rebuild team. |

thats why I wasnt a fan of the gagne 3 year deal. Gaudette will be ready at the end of this college season. |

Yeah I can see him come in end of season like BB for a look. Even EP might depending on his physical development. A lot to do with injuries or TDL deals if there is roster room too.
Gagner can play any forward position so it's not an issue. He's insurance for Hank retiring and being a buffer for the prospects if he's used at center. Plus Gagner has no NTC and if he keeps up production could always be traded. |

The Utica Comets will be challenging for a decent playoff run, so I would expect any players sent to AHL for extra help in the minors after their seasons are over in Europe NCAA or juniors. |
