Last years Canucks without EG and DD were way to easy to play against. Teams were not afraid to punish us. That hurts to watch. - Eldebrink
Yes I get that but it happened with them too. It was more because of an inept PP....no cost to liberties ....that teams rolled Canucks. Hopefully that's righted this year cause the team has no muscle throughout the line up. DD and Guddy are not enough to counter big team wacks. |

This is why I would like to see Pedan get in as a 6 -7d. |

Dam shame. Climate change is real. Be safe. - Nuck4U
It's been much worse in the past. Been getting better for a few years. 2004 was the worse in my memory(i was in south cariboo then)... The el-nino/la-ninas are so tight together now it's hard to predict but we are lucky to have had a nice wet spring... been dry for a couple of weeks now though... right on scheduled. Will be dry with isolated thunder storms(fire starters) for the month before it settles into just hot and on fire with swarms of horseflies..

He won't have a contract with Canucks either by then too
But yeah you surround him with better players he can contribute.
Though if someone can do what he does now and is more skilled at scoring then don't see the point in playing him. I see a couple propects who will be playing pro that might beat him out at camp. If not, as the season goes on they might get in. Injuries being what they are DD will probably go down the way he plays for his size and age. - Nuck4U
Fore sure.

He's never going to get that much time in the NHL. He's got the tools though... even the tool box. |

Then I guess you'd like King signed as well and any other guy that fights over injecting skill into the line up? |

Nope. I'd rather see Gaunce, Molino or Lebate battle for the LW4 spot. |

Not sure if some can't grasp the concept that we play in a division where the big boys play, but we need an element of toughness on this team.
Skill is nice (Skille is not) but our skilled guys are pussies, making for pretty poopty entertainment.

The Cariboo is on fire in every direction right now... hwy 97 closed multiple locations from multiple fires... people trapped in between. Even Dragon Mountain in Quesnel is on fire today from a strike... Deep Creek, 150 Mile, Lac Le Hache, 100 Mile House, Ashcroft... brutal. I'll be surprised if I have a cabin in the south Cariboo after this summer... - boonerbuck
I wish you safe adventures , hopefully they get it under control |

Well maybe JB can click edit on the game console and change the players in the draft.
We got Nicos skill or more... I would be happy with Glass for sure but can't complain for the GM aiming for a 1/2 line ceiling rather than a 2/3 line ceiling because he's bigger. I'm warming up to this pick more and more. |

Not this season... nope. Maybe some size in a JVR pickup.
Edit:Knew Toronto would come sniffing around for a stay at home when they need a good two way D... slim pickings now... over the cap are you... we love 2018 picks.... |

Im with you on that. Not sure why everyone seems to pick a forward for the enforcer.
add that pedan won the fastest skater and hardest shot at skills competition ... we could use both of those plus the fighting |

I put a bigger value on hitting, thus I prefer bigger players. You get a team of big players that hit in the playoffs and it can wear another smaller team down and cost them the series.
so we need at least SOME size on the team. EG and pedan are a start. Some big forwards would help out |

I gotta say I think we got the most skilled guy in the entire draft.
There were a few scouts who had petersson 1oa and others who said he'd be the clear 1oa if he was 20 lbs heavier. |
