So, is the lesson here to only draft college draftees high? If later picks (3rd or later?) outperform their slot, why not wait to become a FA.

I have no fears about Casey. But if drafting a college guy in the 3-7th only results in: guy sucks, like his draft position. OR: I'm staying four years and then telling you guys to (frank) off...why waste the pick?

At this point, I hope you're right. Cal threw off the Sabre goalie depth and a second round pick had to be spent as a result.

I never said the sabres did I'm just saying going straight to the ahl is not always a great idea I love the way collages develop the players for the NHL in my opinion it's the best and overseas
