with the range of size and the fact that this is more about development and learning certain skill sets i bet they don't want to do 5 on 5 because of potential injuries

Neither are top 6 players in my opinion. Nylander and Mittelstadt are the only guys with that upside right now. Bailey has a chance but is still raw

with the range of size and the fact that this is more about development and learning certain skill sets i bet they don't want to do 5 on 5 because of potential injuries

Injures happen it's all part of the game i do think it's a fun skills competition but how does that help the player to know what they should work on to make the next level at camp ?

I think he has a year or two left in school. I imagine he's the kind of player that would want to finish then see if the sabres are interested. He's coming along nicely though.
