Well seeing how we could not win in OT during the regular season ans we were terrible in shootouts, I am not opposed to this - lulags
It's a prospect camp.
Most of game play is 5 on 5...
I want to see how these guys look with less ice and having to make a decision faster.

Sleepers from scrimmage( knowing its a glorified game of shinny):
Wilman
Martin
Karabachek
All skated well, held their own made nice plays.
Really liked Fasching, Asplund, Lukkonen
Need to step up:
Baptiste, Bailey, Nylander
Best player on Ice:
Mittlestadt

If a game goes to OT over 92% of the game is played 5 on 5 (remember special teams don't matter)...

What did you not see them do, or should they have done more?
I haven't been able to watch, so I am not trying to be a jerk here.

with the range of size and the fact that this is more about development and learning certain skill sets i bet they don't want to do 5 on 5 because of potential injuries |

Neither are top 6 players in my opinion. Nylander and Mittelstadt are the only guys with that upside right now. Bailey has a chance but is still raw |

Injures happen it's all part of the game i do think it's a fun skills competition but how does that help the player to know what they should work on to make the next level at camp ?
That's my only problem |

The ECHL's Florida Everblades have offered Jaromir Jagr a roster spot.
"We believe this deal makes sense for both sides," said Everblades Public Relations Manager & Broadcaster Alex Reed. "Jaromir will have the opportunity to continue to play the game that he loves, while remaining in the tropical paradise of South Florida. From the team side, well that’s obvious. Just imagine watching number 68 skate on Germain Arena ice, with his long hair flowing behind him. The whole thing just gives us chills." The Everblades have also stated that they're willing to have him suit up in only their weekend home games if that's more convenient for him. It's a nice story, but don't expect Jagr to play in the ECHL at all next season. |

I think he has a year or two left in school. I imagine he's the kind of player that would want to finish then see if the sabres are interested. He's coming along nicely though. |

If a top LW comes back I'm all for it ( them in a package)
The rookie out played those 2 and they should be the ones dominating this easy rookie camp imo |
