josh norris went 19th overall, had similar stats and twice the 5v5 production.

For a guy who is as talented as he appears to be, its suspect that the jump from HS to USHL resulted in stats that are commonly put up by guys taken in the mid to late first round.

Makes sense. I had heard Casey's 5v5 production was less than stellar, but wasn't sure the point total was anything frightening. Hopefully was just due to the adjustment to a quicker pace.

oh cmon. im just trying to explain the potential red flags i know hes very talented and could still very well turn out to be a great player but using a scouting report like that is hardly the way to go.

Find me the scouting report of a potential first round that had any sort of brutal honesty in it:

Bogosian is a smooth skating defenseman for the Peterborough Petes. A solid all around player, with an excellent hockey IQ and leadership qualities. Decent size at 6’2”, and is not afraid to get physical. Has a big shot. Will be a top 3 pick, and has the potential to be playing in the NHL in a year or 2.
