Mittelstadt is not small. Hes almost the exact same size as Nylander and actually a little bigger. 6"1 199lbs. Everyone is joking that he looks like a 10 year old. Hes a young kid with a baby face but hes not "small"

Yeah we sure are. Also, we're going to pretend that Ek's comment about last year's Bolts and the Islanders being in pretty much the same state is even remotely accurate. A fairly consistent contender that just hasn't been able to make that final leap vs a perennial failure at player management.

Besides the Eberle trade this year, the last good thing I remember the Isles doing was signing Boychuk and Leddy and that was a long time ago. They might have also fleeced Buffalo and Montreal in the Vanek and Moulson deals...but those are so far back I can't even remember if that makes sense.
