No problem, I have season's tickets to the Rockets, although I only get to go to about 1/3 of their home games and all the games they play against the Giants at the LEC. I'll keep everyone posted about his progress if you all want. As I said, with Kelowna being in a down period, I expect Lind to improve on his goal/point totals and play in all situations. IMHO, he's about 2-3 years away from making it to the NHL, his weaknesses are mainly in his defensive game which will require him to play a year and a bit in Utica to fix up. I think he probably either makes Team Canada for the WJC or is one of the final cuts, I see him making our roster in 2020 (along with EP). - DariusKnight

What's the point now that he's already in Guance territory unless his time line improves. He's talking 2020-2021 season to get a sniff at NHL. At that point there would be 3 more drafts of top picks pressing for a roster spots. That's not even mentioning the previous 3plus years of prospects as well. You would be calling Lind scraps. |

I say he's 2-3 years away, he's saying that because he's that far away, with how bad we'll be until then he'll be irrelevant by the time he's ready because we'll have better prospects. I disagree personally, he's going to be a very good middle 6 winger for us when he gets here. |

What Darius says👆🏼 You won't have much interest as you will be calling him a bust by then. If top picks aren't knocking on the door in this low talent team at 19/20 then they get the JV treatment not the Bo. Relevance to impact will have less meaning for you. |

I don't doubt your assessment or if he can play middle six when ready. Just by 2020- 2021 you'll have a lot more candidates not only ready but playing there ahead of him. So if he doesn't step up his game sooner he'll most likely be stuck in the AHL as depth. |

Because I don't like Gaunce and Subban I won't like Lind? You know what I don't like? Folks overating marginal assets. Lind is an 18 year old. I look forward to his progression over the next couple of seasons and I'll enjoy updates from Darius |

Don't most of the locals get hoped up on some semi hallucinogenic there? Might be better than Carlsburg. |

then they will earn the treatment they receive.
hoping Subban can get his act together in his own end and earn a shot. |

Did you see this article:

Seems new Comets coach Cull is focusing on getting him NHL ready like he did with Bolts prospects. If you turn a long shot into an asset then AHL development has worked. |

Where would Subban be on the depth chart do ya reckon?
Edler
Tanev
Stetcher
Gudbranson
MDZ
Hutton
Weirchoch
Biega
Holm
Pedan
OJ
? Subban @ 12?
I think Vancouver played about 10 D last year, more were called up but never saw game action. I could be wrong there.
Either way, i suppose it's possible that Subban gets a shot (if Edler, MDZ, Stetcher are out and OJ is unavailable), but unlikely. |

That looks about right. Why Coll has his work cut out for him with Subban. Though I believe OJ is below Hutton right now. It's the decision on if he should stay or not, as in how close he is to being more that may decide it for him sticking this season. |

Think McEneny is on the list above Subban, maybe 9th or 10th. Think Subban comes in after Gunnerson and Rathbone.

The 18 year old that was just drafted?
Surely Subban has the inside edge on the kid, no? |
