You have to wonder where burning cars fit into the lore of Canucks hockey. Maybe we should go with that as an emblem. |

I disagree. Gaunce should be the new logo on our jerseys. Agreed on Horvat, he is blue collar trash and Burnistrov has a higher ceiling - CanuckDon

I find several jazz cigarettes and The Allman Brothers Band playing (loudly) at The Beacon Theatre in 2003 helps.

Your best post ever!
Honestly the only meaningful thing that you've contributed to this blog are links to articles where we can read other people's opinions (Thanks) and what amounts to a steady depleting chat room, slow clap for you turning this into a desert of a forum.

Just don't get the obessesion with lumberjacks. Is that what Vancouver represents? Is that what a Canuck is? Johnny Canuck historically was an Uncle Sam type cartoon character that sold war bonds. Yeah it's hard to make an emblem for Canuck.
The Montreal Canadians have done it well. They tied it to historical authenticity of Habitant. Which is timeless in symbol and meaning.
The ever elusive changing symbol from a stick in a rink, slanted skate for hockey(Flying V is a drug induced aberration) to an Orca that at least is relevant to the coastal environment. None have been fully satisfactory.
Perhaps there is a new timeless approach for Vancouver. What do posters think symbolizes Vancouver & Canuck? - Nuck4U
Its no obsession other than our original WHL throwback.
